IMPACT REPORT

Mr Jeremy Quartermain

From the Headmaster

It is very challenging to summarise the enormous impact of our school community in text, infographics and statistics. Nevertheless, I am delighted to share with you the very first of our annual impact reports. I hope that you share our enormous sense of pride in all that we have achieved throughout the course of the last year. The immense reach of Rossall, both locally and globally, sets us apart from other schools, as do the superb outcomes achieved by our Sixth Formers, which are celebrated in this report. It is pleasing to note the very real additional value that a Rossall education provides.

We are mindful of  the potential challenge presented by external political and economic factors. Consideration of such matters constitutes an important strand of our strategic thinking. It is our mission to provide an outstanding education which is financially sustainable. With this in mind, we are at an advanced stage of putting in place a suite of measures that we hope will provide parents with a real sense of clarity and  reassurance moving forward.

This report was an absolute  joy to compile and I think that it helps to explain why Rossall has the highest pupil roll in its hundred and eighty year history. However, there is no room for complacency and we are focusing our energies upon planning for the future. Our development plans are ambitious and we look forward to making some exciting announcements in the new year.

We are one community and I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to you for your continued support. Our success is shared and we would be nothing without our fantastic staff, wonderful parent body and generous ORs. I should also pay tribute to our governing body who dedicate so much of their time to ensuring that we are able to deliver an excellent quality of education.
