Becoming a Boarder and Creating Memories
Whether it’s making a splash at Sandcastle WaterPark or strategising through the twists and turns of paintballing, our activity trips provide the perfect opportunity for team building and bonding. Boarders work together to overcome challenges, support each other, and forge lifelong friendships that extend beyond the classroom. For many of our boarders, Rossall Weekends offer a chance to settle into their new boarding house and feel at home.
From catching a blockbuster at Cleveleys Cinema, exploring the picturesque streets of York, or marvelling at the grandeur of Warwick Castle, each Rossall Weekend leaves our boarders with memories they’ll cherish for a lifetime.
A Home Away From Home
Boarding life at Rossall is like a home away from home, where we never miss out on the joy of festive celebrations, such as Christmas! There’s nothing quite like the festive cheer of Christmas markets, and our boarders get to experience it firsthand. Browsing through stalls adorned with twinkling lights, sampling delicious treats, and soaking in the joyful atmosphere – it’s a magical experience that brings everyone together.
Exploring the UK
From the enchanting Warner Bros. Studio Tour London to the adrenaline-pumping rides at Alton Towers Theme Park, our boarders have the opportunity to explore some of the UK’s most iconic destinations. These trips not only allow them to discover the rich cultural heritage and natural beauty of the country but also foster a sense of curiosity and exploration. We’re also delighted to be offering a trip to Manchester, including a visit to the National Football Museum and a Manchester City Stadium and Football Academy tour – which our boarders are especially excited about following the recent announcement of our partnership!
Rossall Weekends aren’t just about fun and games – they’re also about learning and enrichment. Visits to the National Railway Museum, York Minster, the Imperial War Museum North, Warwick and Edinburgh Castle and Stratford Upon Avon offer valuable insights into history, technology, and culture, enhancing our boarders’ understanding of the world around them.
