The inaugural AI in Primary Education Conference at Rossall School features three distinguished keynote speakers:

Lee Parkinson: Lee, widely known as Mr P ICT, is a leading educational technology consultant and former primary school teacher. With over a decade of classroom experience, he has become a prominent advocate for integrating technology into education to enhance learning outcomes. Mr P ICT has amassed a substantial online following, with over half a million followers across Instagram, TikTok and X (Twitter). Through his workshops, seminars, and online presence, he provides practical strategies and resources to help educators effectively incorporate digital tools into their teaching practices. His engaging and humorous approach to education has made him a highly sought-after speaker at conferences and training events worldwide.

Ben Whitaker: Ben, known as The !deas Guy, is an innovative educator and creative consultant specialising in primary education. With a background in teaching and curriculum development, he focuses on fostering creativity and critical thinking in young learners. In January 2025, Ben published his book, The !deas Guy: Unleash Your Inner Genius. This work presents a compelling framework for individuals eager to make a significant impact, drawing inspiration from the journeys of 25 remarkable figures. Ben offers professional development sessions and consultancy services, inspiring teachers to implement imaginative approaches in their classrooms.


Patrick McGrath is a renowned educational technology strategist with a focus on inclusion, accessibility, and universal design. As the Head of Education Strategy for EMEA at Texthelp, the world's largest specialist assistive technology group, he collaborates with educational institutions and government bodies to implement technology solutions that enhance teaching and learning experiences. Patrick has worked with education ministries, delivering country-scale projects and providing strategic guidance on technology integration with pedagogy at its core. An international keynote speaker, workshop leader, and podcaster, Patrick is dedicated to empowering educators and promoting inclusive learning environments.
