With Love From Chapel - Lent Term - Week 7

This morning, some of us took these words from Matthew’s gospel to heart and launched our ‘Parent Prayer Group’ for all things Rossall.

It was a lovely opportunity to take a few minutes before heading into the business of the day to get together with other parents - and to see that many of us share similar joys and pleasures as well as troubles and concerns for our little (and not so little) ones.

It was also a great reminder that God shares our celebrations as well as our worries, that He is with us in pleasure and in pain, and that - this morning - he was right in the midst of us while we spoke about the things we would like to ask Him to bless here in Rossall. This also means that every student and member of staff, every exam and every policy are being prayed for on a regular basis.

Being modern mums, we finished the prayer with a selfie, which also serves as an invitation to any other parent who might like to join us in the future. 

We are meeting every other Friday at 8:30am in the HUB in school, and our next get-together will be on 14th March. 

For international parents, there will also be the opportunity to attend a Zoom prayer-meeting.
