We are delighted to announce that OFSTED has approved our application as a childcare provider on the Early Years Register, meaning that we can now welcome children as young as 3 months old into our nursery school.
We announced our plans to increase our nursery provision in November 2019 and the renovations were completed in early March 2020 just before lockdown.
We now plan to welcome babies aged three months and up into our nursery in September.
The Nursery has gone from strength to strength under the leadership of Mrs Nikola Stott, Director of Rossall Nursery, and opening a provision for babies is an important aspect of our strategic development plan.
Headmaster, Mr Jeremy Quartermain paid tribute to all the nursery staff for working so hard to prepare for the opening of such a fabulous provision.
He said, “Our youngest daughter Teigan absolutely loves the Nursery and cannot wait to come in every morning to meet her friends and take part in all the exciting activities. The Baby Room is beautiful…almost worth having a baby in itself!”
Head of Nursery, Infants and Juniors, Mr Matt Turner said, “We cannot wait to welcome our first babies into this wonderful new facility. The Nursery is an integral part of the Junior School and a fantastic place for families to begin their Rossall journey with us.”
Over recent times, our nursery has become increasingly popular with the local community, so much so that there are only a limited number of places left available for the baby room.
