AMAZING ALUMNI – BRIAN REDMAN
Brian Redman (A 50-53) is the King of Formula 5000 sports car racing.
The world-renowned driver took a record 16 wins in the North American series and 3 straight titles from 1974 to 1976. He is one of the most successful drivers in sports car history, having won the Spa 1000km four times, the Daytona 24 Hours on 3 occasions and the Sebring 12 Hour Nurburgring, Monza and Osterreichring 1000km races twice each.
His last year of professional racing was at the age of 52, driving for the Aston Martin team in the 1989 World Sports Prototype Championship. Now living in the USA, Brian continues to drive a Porsche 908/03 for the Collier Collection and appears at the Goodwood Festival of Speed every year.
